Introduction to the Strategy sessions
Strategy is at the heart of general management education. It explores how firms compete and what they need to do to be successful. Clear strategic thinking should inform the decisions of every general manager and is the basic competence of management consultants everywhere.
Our courses are designed to build Students' skills in formulating and implementing strategy. We build on the ideas in the Strategy core course to develop deeper knowledge on managing strategically. We focus on three areas of strategy:
Business Strategy: Identifying, occupying and defending the most profitable market positions
Corporate Strategy: Managing organizational scope through acquisitions, alliances and international expansion
Strategic Management: Aligning organization to develop and execute winning strategies
